Esteban Camilo Valbuena Balaguera Personal Blog
This is my personal blog where I share with you my experiences as a software developer and life as a gamer. For several years I’ve been learning every language available in technology from open source to regular website development. When not coding I am enjoy working out and swimming.
I remember when I first started programming back in the early 2000’s. I took my first class C plus plus. From there I went into creating websites and doing seo. It was easy to rank back then Google was not as difficult, Adwords was cheap and no one was doing it. Remember doing my first website. It was a store, a jewelry store. The owner wanted to have all pictures of this jewelry and an easy way for people to shop. We custom made the website on a dot.net platform then allowed for easy updating and easy integration with a shopping cart. He was ecstatic. He now could create pages, add products, and even add discounts to the shopping cart. What was so amazing is that we walked him through the entire process from beginning to end. We showed him how to add every single product, how to add pricing to each thing, and more importantly how to get paid. From there we went to future development where we were able to scale that one website to a multi location company. Unfortunately, we did such a good job that he left us and brought in an in-house development team. Stories like these are the ones that will be sharing with you on my blog. Success stories of businesses and software development stories like these are the ones that will be sharing with you on my blog. Success stories of businesses and software development.

A very short story about how I went into technology as a business man and entrepreneur. I once heard the story of Michael Dell, and how he started his business from his college dorm at the university of Texas. It was amazing how a university student was able to grow a business into a multibillionaire company. I was amazed when I heard that he would buy parts for IBM computers. Then he would fix them up and sell refurbished computers to businesses and people. He did it so well that he had to drop out of school. He is also considered one of the richest people in the United States according to Forbes. However, what’s very amazing is that he employs thousands of people in the Nashville and Austin area. He’s created a tremendous legacy for generations to come. When I heard about the story I thought to myself, I could do this too. So I’ve begun my journey as a software developer and an entrepreneur.

The life of an entrepreneur/software developer is a life that changes every single day and by the minute at times. You consistently have to be learning new technology and languages to stay up today. Reading and breaking things is the best way to learn here.
